Logmein Free is a fantastic tool that allows you to remote control numerous computers,

- Basically you setup an account by going to www.logmein.com
- Then add computers to it by installing a small application on each of the computers.
- Once this app is installed your computer appears in your my computers list allowing you to remote control it from anywhere you have access to the internet including your windows based Smartphone !
The software even allows you to turn on a computer that someone has turned off !
This makes it great for remote controlling in from home to do upgrades and installs after hours, avoiding interrupting your users
Another cool facility is the ability to setup sub users, they can log in and also remote the computers, but only the ones you let them see, really handy for training and remote issue diagnosis. I have been using this service for 5 years now as a replacement for Tight VNC with no issues,
